Justin Owen M.Ost.

Justin gained his Master’s Degree at the British School of Osteopathy (now the University College of Osteopathy), where he later taught alongside his practice work.  He worked in various clinical settings before coming to Balham and has treated a huge variety of people from office and manual workers, amateur athletes to elite sportspeople, actors and musicians.

Justin is a GOsC registered Osteopath and a qualified Medical Acupuncturist. He is also a movement specialist, having completed a mentorship with the prestigious Gray Institute in the USA, a Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS), and has completed post-graduate courses in the treatment of children and how psychological health impacts physical health.

His special areas of interest include the relieving of pain through improved Functional movement, treatment of chronic pain, headaches and sports injuries generally.

From school and in his early 20s, he played competitive Rugby both here and in Hong Kong and was also a keen Rower; he became interested in Osteopathy, having sustained a chronic neck injury following a motorcycle accident.

A daily motorcyclist, he keeps fit with Crossfit and running.

Justin’s availability

Justin works at Balham Osteopathic Practice all day on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
